I got my first coton in 1996 Ceetan coton´s bred by Ms Sirkka-Liisa Salmi, Vantaa, Finland.

My kennelname, CottonClown, was registered with FCI in 2002. I was very lucky to get the name CottonClown because cotons have a clownlike temperament and cottonlike coat.

My primary goal in breeding is good health and temperament. These qualities are very impostant to me and I always keep them in mind when planning litters.

We, my dogs and I (yes, I am single, born  in 1967), live in southern Finland countryside, in a village called Vesilahti. It's about 140 km from Helsinki. I have a lot of space for cotons to play. My main hobby with my dogs is dog shows and of course breeding. Normally I have only one or two litters per year. All CottonClown litters are carefully planned combinations and they are all bred with love!
